No, this is about where you are logged out, unexpectedly, not alwasy on the forums.

That happened to me at one point and turned out to be a setting in my ZoneAlarm security software. When the setting was changed (whatever it was) the problem disappeared and has never returned.

Okay, It was just a thought. And again, I haven't had any of these logging out problems lately. Like others, I had this problem around last year.

I keep getting logged out every couple minutes on Apple Safari 4.0.5 for Windows.
It only happens on Scratch.

On Wednesday, June 9, I went on my personal laptop (Which is the computer in my house that I go on) and I had to log back IN to the Scratch website. That went the same with my e-mail account. But at least my computer keeps me logged into the website!!!

I have an Amilo M here, Pentium (R) 1.4 GHz processor and 40 GB HDD, with 1GB cache memory. The issue that I am running into is that at random times, Suse will automatically log out without warning. This is what the syslog says:
Mar 6 21:53:22 (none) smartd[3586]: Device: /dev/sda [SAT], 1 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors
Mar 6 21:53:22 (none) smartd[3586]: Device: /dev/sda [SAT], 2 Offline uncorrectable sectors
Mar 6 22:15:58 (none) rsyslogd: -- MARK --
Mar 6 22:23:23 (none) smartd[3586]: Device: /dev/sda [SAT], 1 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors
Mar 6 22:23:23 (none) smartd[3586]: Device: /dev/sda [SAT], 2 Offline uncorrectable sectors
Mar 6 22:34:26 (none) kdm[725]: X server for display :0 terminated unexpectedly
Mar 6 22:34:44 (none) checkproc: checkproc: can not get session id for process 8195!
Mar 6 22:35:07 (none) python: hp-systray[11224]: warning: No hp: or hpfax: devices found in any installed CUPS queue. Exiting.
Mar 6 22:49:56 (none) su: (to root) j-dub on /dev/pts/2
Don't know if there's anything there that would give a clue since I am a n00b and don't know myself. But the computer randomly will log out of a session, making me log back in again. It does not do it all the time, but it does it and sometimes it can annoy me. I was initially told its a RAM issue, but the computer now has 1,280MB ram. Before installing the RAM, I ran Memtest for 2 days and nothing came of it. So whats the issue?? Help me out Suse Pros!

Actually, many users have had Safari do the random logging out more than others - I know that's the case for me. But Safari's a great browser, so I'm not leaving it anytime soon
Anyways, the issue has been occuring quite a bit less frequently recently. In early-ish 2008, I know that just about everyone was having that issue.

Funny, I usually get logged out randomly on Scratch every 2 weeks when I'm not on my computer. So I kinda have the same problem, except it's every 2 weeks and when I'm not on my computer.

By the way, the language also changes when I get logged out.
