Re: Gods Quest 3

I think we can just use this forum for communication to keep things simple.  Also I don't think the Scratch Team let's us put our emails on the forums...

Okay. How should we share projects between one another.

And how will we keep certain features secret  cool

Hmm... yeah, email would be easier.  But how do we give our email to each other?

Comment on the ~last project of one another and delete the comments?

Right.  I'll do that right now.

Same.

On an aside, we should do some work in the forums.

I'll send you the most recent version.

What we need right now is background scrolling sprites, and level designs, as well as more efficient coding (I'm always about efficiency even when I have 30 fps  lol )

Re: Gods Quest 3

Yeah, with the spells, the buttons you have to press feel a bit jumbled around.  What if it went like:

A-Lightning Bolt, S-Heal, D-Holy Smite F-Magic Ball G-Shield

This way, instead of groping around for the correct button, they are all lined up.  smile

Hi DaGamez I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed Gods Quest and are interested in helping program, however I need to see more of your recent work before I allow you to join this collab.

Ok. I can make a game for you to prove myself worthy... Or a sprite... or whatever.
I had another account, but I decided I didn't like it anymore and made this account. I deleted my other account.
I can make a calculator in less than 5 minutes, I can do smooth movement, etc.
I'm only bad at one thing: Art. I suck at drawing.
I can make good OSs (But I never had the patience to make one professional...), etc.
I have an artist, he can draw a little for me.
But he usually only comes on weekends.
Can you give me a chance to get in, and if I work badly you can kick me out. Okay? Thanks!

Could you please over the course of the next couple days make a platformer that uses smooth movement and other techniques to prove you are worthy to join the collab.

Re: Gods Quest 3

I made 2 platformers: Platformer and Platformer II
Platformer: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/DaGamez/998023
Platformer II: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/DaGamez/1000446

You should probably play the first one first because it teaches you how to play.
Also, there's not too many levels cause I made it in like 10 minutes xD
But if I focus on a game a lot I work on it for hours straight xD
