It is becoming too hard to get on the front page.
My latest game didn't get on top viewed because the highly viewed projects had 250+ views within less than 4 days. (when I joined like 100 views were required to get front page).
Top loved is spammed with art, animation etc and people telling people to love their projects for what reason.
Top remixed is... Well...
Curated is Alright.
Featured is low quality projects giving children a chance.
Newest Projects is... Well...

Right, love it's are usually granted to people that beg and ask for them... they don't benefit the people that press it, so people have to be reminded... most views and love it go to people that are already popular.
People that are not popular are out of luck.
The current tag pages are sorted by views, so they just get more views... relevant "waffle" (and many other tags) projects are out of luck.
I think the front page should be made less important by making tags more relevant.
People that want to see "games" should be able to go to the games tag page and see "recently tagged as 'games'" "most tagged as games." then vote on how relevant those tags are to the project. build mini communities around the tags, by allowing comments on each tag page.
The site is currently setup to encourage spamming, but it's forbidden. most of the trafic goes to the front page projects, that's the place to get attention from people online now. and public gallery pages are made irrelevant by people spamming their project. The show and tell forum is not very easy to find or use.
I think it should be easier to get attention- make it easy for people that want attention now to get together... have a short signature next to your comments, that links to the project I want help with now... as I help others, they'll see that I need help too and can easily go to my project and help me in return.
