I've never used a Mac, but two friends have Macs and downloaded Scratch. I sent them Project files I'd made (on Windows) but they each had problems. One had to "hard reset" (or whatever Mac users call it) when Scratch seemed to freeze his computer. It was harder for the other friend to describe his difficulties.
So this is just a general (and ignorant) question: do Mac users have any suggestions for successfully using Scratch, and files sent by email (rather than online)?
(Some of my projects for friends are "in-jokes" so I send them directly by email rather than uploading them to Scratch.)
Any Mac advice appreciated!!!

The problem is most likely with the mail programs, rather that with scratch. A lot of mail programs mess up sending certain file types (more so with Windows that with mail programs on other platforms, I think).
Do a checksum of the file before you send it, and have them checksum what they receive.
I believe that md5sum is available for both platforms.
