thats my reason

There is no way a ninja would be able to penetrate the amour of a samurai while dodging the samurai's sword at the same time. A samurai would have no problem fighting a ninja.

A Ninja would for SURE win

Yeah, Right. If you had actually researched, you would know that Samuri were more than the common foot soldier. They were the Knights of japan. Ninjas, if they weren't urban legends spawned by samuria, were assasins.

Samuri: Wore flexible armor which allowed them to twist and turn unlike knights.
There swords were and alloy of iron and other distinct metals, cooled in the exact tempature of water to bring about extremly sharp, durable and flexable swords which were better than the Iron ones the knight used because they did not snap under pressure.
The samuri used there swords as an extension of the arm and used very fluid movements that lost less energy than the hacking and slicing a knight did.
They also had bows and arrows sometimes, which were deadly on horseback.
The last thing they had going for them was there intense, sometimes sucidal loyalty and honor. If there lord told them to commit suicide, they would do so gladly with nothing asked or said. If captured by the enemy, they would commit suicide by taking there swords and cutting an L shape into there chests. This was deemed honorable and the enemys usually allowed it.


Ninjas: I have already shown my scepticalty that they ever existed. If they did, it wouldn't be like Naruto. They could not walk on water or stop swords with there bare hands. The walking on water myths were most likly spawned by witnesses to them while they escaped, where they sometimes put poles in the water to cross it. Ninjas were assasins, not good for up close for fighting. They possesed throwing stars, or shurikens.  These they would throw at a passing Shogunate or Daiymo from a nearby tree. They also probably crept into houses at night, on orders from there own shogun to kill a rival.

I will not express my opinion to this vote but more so educate you so you have a tiny real backround and not just so stupid japanese TV show to guide your answer.

Okay, that's kinda disturbing. Loyalty is one thing, but this is WAY different. What happened, the samurais were dropped on thier heads when they were born or somthing? Or were they all suicidal? OxO'

Yeah, it is disturbing. I think that they were just raised to think that is normal or somthing.

        Once, in a war between two daiymos, one of them told all of his prisoners "You can either die by torture at our hand, or go up to the front lines and commit suicide by your own hand." Needless to say, most of them went straight to the enemy and commited suicide. It scared the other troops so much that the daiymo with the prisoners won easily.

That reminds me of an episode of Higurashi that Maho showed me, it was, disturbing.... (Still prefer ninjas...)

Whilst a samuri would probably win a fair fight, I vote Ninja, purely on the basis that they wouldn't fight fair.

1-dont give me facts about the choices, only your decision and explanation
2-when I say samurai, i dont mean the regular knight,i mean like a legendary warrior samurai, known to be undefeatable!!!against a ninja(perhaps this changes things!!)

Yes this is called Di Nippan (its probabbly not spelled right) They did commit suicide when asked by their emperor. Many died this way by doing important suicidal missions. Another example of this are Kamakazis which I don't really want to get into too much. Yes the Japanese did commit suicide but this allowed them to not lose a war until ww2. So I would have to go with samurais.
