Meeting

Hey Everybody,

This post is intitled, "Meeting," because that's what it is about. A meeting. Not of Scratchers, and It will not happen. Will not meaning will not happen in the future. It already happened. I just wanted to share that I have seen the scratch team in a meeting, while I was not supposed to, and I recognized seeing Mitch and Jay, a few others (That I knew from Scratch day), and I was there, in the background, with a bunch of friends, most of whom are not scratchers. Two of them are. Mitch was showing a Power-Point Presentation about scratch, yet I was not eavesdropping like most people would. I couldn't look at the Power-Point, because I was paying attention to a guy named Ryan Chin, who was giving my FLL team a little lesson on the stuff he's doing at Grad-School (This meeting was in the media lab, note that). He made a motorized Bicicle, a foldable car, lots of cool stuff, yeah yeah, now back on topic. It seemed like they were sharing ideas for Scratch version 2.0, but I can't be sure.

So if any members of the scratch team may have seen my friends and my FLL team talking To Ryan Chin of Smart Cities, then I was one of them.

Scratch on!

Re: Meeting

So... you're saying two members of the Scratch team were at an FLL competition?

Also, when I was on vacation we happened to be staying at the same hotel as someone who won the state competition (Which I went to) and was going to the nationals.

Fll?

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

It stands for First Lego League. You program Lego NXT robots to do stuff. But this year it sounds boring. Biomedical  hmm

**Chuckles**
No! When I was doing reasearch for an FLL presentation, I was in the media lab, and The whole scratch team was in a meeting.

I'm going to do it anyway next year. It's not really worth it, but I have to get ready for the High School Real-Robot competition.

How is medicine used in engineering anyway???

My team is pretty good at figuring stuff out. We always win first prize for the reasearch project. We also always make it to the State Finals Competition, but we have never won.

We're not the town team, we're seperated from that. That's why we always win the regionals.
