Return of the Math- The Radical Method!

OK... I'm kidding  smile  Math projects were never dominant on the front page and (most likely) never will be...

So what is the purpose of this post? To say what I think we should do about stuff we don't like on the front page.

The Radical Method
1) If you see a project that looks like it is of a genre you don't like, don't view it!
2) If you see a project that you think you might like, but don't, don't love  it!
3) If you see a project that is a genre that you do like, view it!
4) If you like a project, love it!
5) If, despite your best efforts, a project you don't like gets on the front page, ignore it!

Pretty much what I'm saying is that we are in control of what gets to the front page. Sure, each of us is only one of the approximately 484,777 Scratch members, but if we work together, we can do it! And if we can't, well, that's a-okay. Because, really, Scratch wasn't made just for games (or math  big_smile  ).

(PS- This method is named in honor of radicals in math)

I couldn't agree more.  smile  But I very highly doubt that will ever happen...

This "return" stuff is getting all popular...  yikes
I hope nothing big, large, scary, fiery appears.  tongue

But you're right - if you see a project you don't like, don't view it!

I think math projects, simulations, tools, etc. are better than just games - games aren't as great.  big_smile

I agree with everything you said.  smile

When a Bosox project gets views, many newbies will download and see how it is done. The simplicity makes it easy to understand, so it is also educational!

We win, they win, Scratch grows and prospers!  smile

Learning the inner workings of projects also induces more people to create sims and maths like you want too!  big_smile
