How long does it normally take for a project to get uploaded?

Because it's taking a pretty long time.

But how long, just as a general guess?
A few minutes? A few hours?

10 seconds sometimes, sometimes a few minutes. Never 1 hour though. Longest of probably 10 minutes (if that. LOTS of music for that)

Depends on your connection. If you have slow internet a big project could take a while to upload.

Yeah because it pretty much slows to a halt when it gets to "connecting to scratch.mit.edu" I wait for about fifteen minutes, check again, and it's still stuck there.

Does it have music? That slows it down, as well as many sprites and scripts. Maybe try another copmuter

Re: How long does it normally take for a project to get uploaded?

Dial-up internet or bad wireless connection can contribute to the slow uploading process, or if there is a lot of music in the project or very long, complicated scripts there can be a longer wait for the project to load to the internet.
