When scratch came out it was original made for interactive art, or art. Then, people started to make fancy games, with the same code. Soon enough, art came back. But isn't scratch fun with games?
My simple game:
Can you dodge a ball?
Can you move a cat with the left and right arrows?
If so, this is the game for you.
It has a simple objective: Dodge
Seems simple, but how far can you really get on it.

I'm pretty sure when Scratch came out it was to teach people about programming, not about art. Art has become more popular now, but I'm pretty sure the programming was the initial idea.

That wasn't the exact point of this post. And, I know so because I have been on scratch since 2008. Just not on this account.
Interactive art is programing. Just look at any of the first projects. Were they games? Later as scratch moved on, people started to create games.
Edit:
You were here when I was actually on a famous account. But then something happened numerous times, and I came back and it happened again. So you might know me.
I also had another account, but then I decided to delete my projects because I couldn't finish a Brain Age project, and so I left that account.

Once again, that was not the point of this post and interactive art is programing.

if you look in the about section it says that:
Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web
so it was made for both.

That's how it is now. Read on the history of scratch. You will see what I was talking about.
And, please post about this post or project.

its okay but my first project i ever made was almost exactly the same thing so i know it didn't take much effort. maybe you could add better movement and difficulties.

You too?
Anyway, the game is fun although you need to make the movement less choppy.

The choppiness of the game is intentional to make it hard, therefore addicting.
And, what do you mean "You too?". If you are wondering the names of the two accounts I'll tell you the name of one of them. DSGameMaker, was one and the other one I won't say unless you figure it out using this.

This isn't my first project. I know it didn't take much effort too. I even said so.
My first account was DSGameMaker (Which I deleted since I couldn't finish my Brain Age project), and my second account I will give a hint.
Twilight...____light
That account of mine was popular too, but someone liked to mess with my account.

i said my very first project was exactly the same thing like coincidentally. the choppiness of the game made it hard but much less fun and i quit within two seconds, i would add difficulties and much better movement.

I know I was just saying.
