Anyway, I only have problems with JumiGamer/JumiMouse and Logitech Touch Mouse
JumiGamer and JumiMouse aren't Scratch projects, so can't help you.
I know =P Those are the only apps I have problems with. Scratch? None.

For the few who have pre-purchased an iPad, you should know we've submitted Scratch.app 1.4 as a universal iPhone/iPod touch/iPad application. So if you purchase 1.3 for your iPhone/iPod touch and then get an iPad then when you update to the 1.4 version you'll get a player better suited to the larger iPad screen.
Hey, I have a quick request for the next update. Maybe, you could find cats that are a bit faster to herd, and make them run a bit faster on large games. Also, can you add an update where you can make games?

We'll see about making things faster in 1.5, but faster cat herding is hard to do...
BTW as of this morning, Scratch.app 1.4 for iPhone/iPod touch/iPad is now in the App Store:

Click on the ScreenShots -> IPad
To see what it looks like.

Yes, but it is slow on a 1 or 2nd gen iPod touch.
Also if anyone is running it on an iPad can you give us some feedback about performance. Since we're located in Canada we actually have NOT see it run on a real iPad yet.

AndresMh and evhan55 have said in their Twitters that the app was removed from the store because it was an interpreter (I don't know why they remove these kinds of apps though). Maybe this thread should be closed, and perhaps another annoucement topic should be made.

would it be possible for one of the developers to post some more details on the specific problems. Had you ported a small talk interpreter to the iphone, or were you interpreting the scratch projects using c code directly?
Also did apple give you any suggestions for how to recode this so that it could be on the store again?
inquiring minds want to know!

The Scratch player was not made by us - but apparently the creator is in discussion with Apple about the removal. The Scratch software is built on Squeak, so the App may depend on a Squeak VM - I'm not sure about the implementation details.

As the creator of Scratch.app let me comment:
I've read a lot of disappointed, hurt and angry comments. Let me inform you that discussions are ongoing with Apple at this time. We are determine to remain positive given what we've heard, and Scratch.app has kicked off a deep & time consuming act of reflection with Apple.
We don't expect immediate results, the topic and issues are complex and affect not only Scratch.app but also other people and companies who write software for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Apple at the moment is THINKING...
So let's stay cool, and as soon as I know more I'll post it.

Hello,
I am an iPhone developer for about 2-3 years now... From what I see, Apple won't budge on their new agreement... So, everything would have to be written in XCode so code like Objective-C C++ C ect... From what I think and what I have heard, Apple is trying to can Adobe... And this can be good or bad new... For me that means less competition against other apps, but on the down side, you can't get apps like these without working on a solution to take smalltalk and somehow "convert" it to one of the languages... It would be a very hard and long process but I am 99.99% sure that it is possible... I might be able to help if you wanted to do something like this, but I am getting backed up on a bunch of stuff...
Thanks,
Techy

Hey, if anyone wants the Scratch Iphone app, i have a legit version of it.
Unless its from the user jmm and he is signing mobileprovisions for anyone's device for free, it is not legit.
And if you paid for it off Apple servers, then it's only legit for you, and only your iTunes account.
And if you didn't pay for it, and it wasn't jmm signing mobileprovisions, then it's not even legit for you.
BOTTOM LINE: not legal to distribute, even if it was legit for you, personally.
