I have a solution, add in a option in the Dev menu.
Joke Blocks
Or a little easter egg for those who care to find it in the sourcecode, disabled blocks containing the joke blocks!
Offline
that would be gun rather than an easter egg in the source code though, how about a little shift click somewhere (like entering the R on Scratch) that when clicked will show/hide the joke blocks.
or maybe you have to create a sprite named "easter egg" or something, and if that sprite exists, then right clicking on it will bring up the usual rotate, resize, duplicate etc menu with a show/hide joke blocks option?

Ooooh, such possibilities...

Hi! I'm back, sorry for being a bit inactive today, I've been working on my independent mod, Roar. It's coming nicely. Note: I am not taking any code from Panther, I am coding everything myself.
What needs to be worked on?

Hello, everyone!
I am on, but I don't have Panther (not my computer)
Answers to important questions:
Q: Have I started the upload system?
A: I have not, but I have a rough idea of how I want to do it. I will give an estimate of when the beta will be ready when I get back. The first release will probably not contain rating or flagging systems.
Q: What is the password for the Panther download?
A: I can't tell you here, it's a public forum....
Q: Why is it called EXPERIMENTAL?
A: Because it's not fully functional yet; you cannot export sprites with custom blocks
Q: Dates do not save? WHY?!
A: Dates don't save because their class is not registered. I will fix this in 1.2 by making the time/date sensor block convert what it reports to a string before reporting it.
Feel free to ask other questions that I forgot to mention.
@Sperry: Thank you for not taking my coding. I appreciate it! If you need any help, I would be happy to assist you.

Try making those Joystick/gamepad blocks if possible.
I really want to see them in Scratch.
Blocks such as:
(Joystick X) -side movement
(Joystick Y) -forward movement
(Joystick Z rotation) -twist
and adding buttons to the sensor such as:
Joystick button 1 - 12 -Most joysticks go up to 12, not all do though
And (Slider position) -maybe from 0 - 100 places?
And the same for the gamepad.
Also, i think iv though of a way to sort out the space problem, you know how there is a way of showing and hiding the motor blocks, do that for the joke blocks and the gamepad/joystick blocks aswell!

I thought that if I took it, it would be mean considering the amount of time you put into it. I would like to be able to replicate some the features, but with my own coding, otherwise what have I learnt from that?
Where will you put the password so we can get it? I know its hard. We could make our own forum and do all the dev work there.

Post the password on the panther forums but in code or something? or email it to Sparks and he can forward it onto us or something?

No reply about my ideas?

I think joysticks are possible, but, i don't know how we would get Panther/Squeak to know that it's getting it. If we could have something like [Enable joystick] block ad then get it to report the x and y tilts, then we could get somewhere with the rest of it.

Squeak can get Joystick input, iv got an imagefile which allows you to control a robot the joystick if you program it right. check out this.

For joke blocks:
Y'know the random sprite button? How about 1 of the sprites is an egg. There is a script with a special block that opens the joke blocks.

Could you upload your image file somewhere so I can see the code please. Then I might put it into Panther to see if it can recognise it.

Uh-uh.
For joke blocks we create something along the lines of the same idea of the motor blocks.
That helps?

I dont think its legal for me to upload the imagefile my self, I didn't make it.

Yes, but we need some sneaky way to do that...
How about an egg icon hidden behind a random block. When you drag it, the egg shows.

You know how if you've activated the Mesh in Scratch, you have to shift click to get it, if we do something like that, and shift click the Dev menu, tadah!
