Black Leopard (Scratch Version)

BLACK LEOPARD NO LONGER AVAILABLE. BLACK LEOPARD IS COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. ALL DOWNLOAD LINKS HAVE BEEN CLOSED. I AM NOW WORKING ON A NEW PROGRAM FAR MORE POWERFUL CALLED NYX. NO STEALING MY CODE WHICH I STOLE FROM NXIII.

New version! Now has blocks to start, stop and join mesh thanks to MarkyParky56!

Alright. I have basically put together a bunch of blocks I have found on the forums and put them together into a program. It is called "Black Leopard" I am a total n00b. CLick to download it is currently just for windows, but if you have a mac just throw away the file called scratch.exe and replace it with your scratch.app file. if you have ubuntu (like me!) Download Wine and load it in. I do have questions though:

1.) How do I change the thing that says Based on Scratch from The MIT Media Lab

2.) How do I change the sprite it starts out with.

Thank you!

Re: Black Leopard (Scratch Version)

You need to keep the based on.

I don't know.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

To change the logo, go into developer mode, right click untill the based on scratch by MIT is selected, click the marker, and draw! You need to give scratch and MIT credit though.

The default sprite is easy! No source editing!
Heres how:
Find the sprite you want to use as default and export it as default.sprite! Voila! Done.

To make your own mod of Scratch, you can edit the source code to make new blocks. Though you need to know a bit of Smalltalk.

No, it's ten times better. Yay. Cause we have file I/O and blocks that actually take up more than three lines of code!

No, i mean the animal, Panthers are just lepoards but with very dark fur, they have spots.

Download the source code from here and your Scratch executable into the folder containing the .image file. Run the executable and modify the source to your needs. If you, for any reason, delete the Scratch frame, just click the whitespace and select 'open...'->'Scratch'.

No, thats moddifying the sourcecode, not scratch. There are differences.

South American Panthers are actually black jaguars, Asian and Afircan Panthers are actually Black Leopards, and in North America they are actually Black Jaguars and Black Cougars. So there is no such thing as a panther, just a word that describes all those animals that look alike. They are just born with a deffect called "Melanism" which fills all their cells with a dark pigment. (There is also "albinism" wich takes out all colour and makes them pure white!) I know that albinism thing wasn't really related, but I thought it was interesting. I did my research.

cool idea, but I would perfer not to. I would have to make a new logo and change a bunch of things. However, I am willing to make a deal. I will change it if you let me join panther.
