The REMIX REVOLUTION

The remix has used up its usefulness. The story is the same each time: Somebody makes a new project. BUT! it is a remix and pass it on project!!! People remix and pass it on, hoping they will be top remixed. Before long, the project has echoed off the fringes of Scratch. The damage is done. The thousands off remixes fall into disuse, because they are no longer popular. Until the next wave of projects comes...

When you remix and pass it on, you are wasting your time! Why? Because, instead of doodling a random face, you could be programming. REAL programming. Making games that are fun. Making new scripts that become the gold standard. Making breathtaking animations!!! THIS is what Scratch is all about. Please don't lose this vision! Keep Scratch the way it was meant to be: innovative. As somebody else said: "If you want a website that is 99% plagiarized spam, feel free to join MySpace."

Please let your voice be heard! Don't remix these projects. Don't conform to their rule. Don't waste your time!!!
