Here is a list of scratch versions made on the source code by users.

Chirp - Created By Jens - regular scratch with a bunch of cool features.

BYOB (Build Your Own Blocks) - Created By Jens Allows users to make their own blocks out of other blocks.

Streak - Created By Billyedward scratch with new blocks and features.

Itch - Created By Somelia

Panther - Created by a lot of people Panther Website Just like scratch only with lots of network features and a ton of cool new blocks.

M3ow - Created By Gershmer and the m3ow team (text based version of scratch) (some may not consider it a mod, as it is a python script.)

Scar - Unknown

Black Leopard - Created By MidnightLeopard Just like scratch but with many new blocks.

Scribe - Created By AmoebaMan

BLox - Created by rocket101

Myscratch - Created by PieClip (not available for download)

NotScratch - Created by PieClip (not available for download)

Emerald - Created by Magnie and the Emerald Team (A text based version of scratch) (some may not consider it a mod, as it is a python code.

Scratch++ - Created by songhead95

Slash - created by Billybob-Mario - Slash has a huge number of new blocks, mesh, and a piano, and soon will have blink, a built-in browser. It may also have a button that says beep.

Zatch - Created by Zorbak42 and has tons of new blocks as well as a mesh function.

RAGE - Created by WaveOSBeta and has new blocks, new graphic effects, and mesh functions.[/url]

LS97 Has released Bingo- a Suave but powerful new mod. Bingo has some cool new useful blocks and less unnecessary fancy ones like panther (No offense panther dudes). Bingo is my favorite mod for sure!

The panther team is confirming that you will be able to change the size of the stage and create variables for colours. Larger stage is just what we need! Also they will have customizable and movable blocks palet!

Panther also includes lots of new blocks, with a whole new type, color. These perfectly rectangular blocks fit in color choices. It also inclues PYOB, or Program Your Own Blocks.

Note: Panther has a lot more features than network ones, such as:
- CYOB (Code your own blocks): make, delete, edit, and use your own custom blocks programmed in Smalltalk
- Cloning blocks
- Extensive variable/list manipulation blocks (motion, creation/deletion, etc.)
- Advanced pen tools (half-finished: reporters are done, pen trails functionality is not)
- File I/O and website file reading
- Extensive color ops (color variables, mixing blocks, new type of reporters, colors from RGB or HSB + reporters)
- Advanced operators (string, constants, power operator, etc.)
- Dialogs (asking/informing in a Scratch dialog)
And much more!
