Re: Panther development thread

I wish people would stop asking for release dates  roll

People only want it at the moment so they can get the code for the new blocks. I wish it didn't have to be open source. *sigh*

It probably won't be released for a while, since nXIII is claiming were on more like 0.1.2

What else has he got planned? We've got most things we need for a release. CYOB, a whole load of new blocks, unless he means that all the support hes adding will be that major parts.

If thats so, id like to request support for external controllers such as joysticks and gamepads. Aswell as a compiler.

Joysticks and gamepads? Ok, I might have a look into that one.

You mean a .sb to .exe? I might try to see if that can be can be incorperated. (actually it can, because i've seen it in BYOB, but I don't know how it's done)

Re: Panther development thread

I want... people to think realistically for a sec. The more stuff we add, the longer it will take to release, and the more problems there will be to fix so the longer it will take to release. I'd say we have enough features to capture the eye, we can then come out with the next version with even more features. The wensitbe nXIII is working on for project sharing isn't done yet either

What are these multidimenional arrays which you speak of? Do they drop in and out of the dimension we know of? Are they 2D? 3D? 4D?

Hmm..... That could be possible, but hard to implement.

My to do list:
1. See if Panther could have access to gamepad ot joystick commands
2. See about incorprating a Panther to EXE
3. See if multi-dimensional arrays are possible.

MathWizz means a list like this:

| ITEM | ITEM | ITEM |
| ITEM | ITEM | ITEM |
| ITEM | ITEM | ITEM |

You see it's got more than one column?!  big_smile
