Re: Move TBGs back to site

They were moved because they were too much work for the moderators. That, and people thought it was an easy way to get a high post count.

Having separate mods and postcounts for the TBG solved all the problems.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Yes but couldn't you at least have a more visible link? Like make it look like topic but it links to the other forums?

Think of it liek this:
They've moved, but they still exsist, lots of people wanted them to be removed.

I don't agree with this idea
TBG brings people in
We don't want people here!

We dont want the wrong type of people, more people is ok, but too much of a bad type of people is bad.

Re: Move TBGs back to site

The TBGs were removed because they were tedious to moderate, people used them to quickly reach a higher post count, and it drew people away from the rest of the forums and site. Some people only came here for the TBGs back when they were here.

Re: Move TBGs back to site

Thanks for the suggestions, however, the TBG will remain an separate forum.

Perhaps we should adopt the first rule of Fight Club for the TBG ;-)
