I get mocked everyday because of my high weird voice
I don't have cable
My parents are real strict (can't even listen to anything with a cuss word in it)
There's nobody my age In my family or neighborhood
I only have 2 real friends.
It's hard to look on the possitive side when your me.

Sorry if this sounds rude or something...... But really, what do you expect us to do about it? It's no use telling us, unless you're only looking for pity.

Don't hate your life. It is ok to have a high voice. I do. Just tell the people mocking you to Shush.
You don't need cable.
Many parents are strict. And I am sure someday soon they will let you listen to different music.
But you still have friends.
You can always make more friends.

Sorry, but I thought that it was obvious that I was asking for advice

My parents are strict compared to most.
But the title reminds me of this creepy moment.
I was at school and I sat down on the swing, a 2nd Grader sits next to me and goes, "I hate my life, . . . I want a girlfriend." I was like o.O

You should just find something you really like to do and do it a lot.

Well, having a high voice is nothing that you have control of, and you shouldn't worry about anyone who looks down upon you for it.
You may not have cable, however it appears you have internet, therefore you can use HULU.
Your parents may be strict, however I think that they are perfectly justified in their contempt of swearing, and in fact it is stated numerous times in the bible that it is a sin, and therefore they are simply protecting you from a fate considerably worse than your current situation.
Just because there's nobody your age near you doesn't mean that there's nobody your age. You've got the scratch community, school, and extracurriculars to make friends from.
And 2 real friends is a great number, if they are true, real friends.
Just be good to them, and don't complain that it is only two, and you'll find that to be quite enough.
Basically, count your blessings;
I'll get you started:
1) you live in a free country
2) You have parents that care about raising a good child
3) You have enough to eat
4) You have access to luxuries such as internet
5) You get a free education
6) You have some good friends
7) You still have a voice no matter how high; some people do not.
8) You are generally healthy (I hope)
9) You have a roof over your head
10 You have a bright future ahead of you.
See, life isn't so bad after all!
I got 10, and I'm not even you!
Try to go farther than that, and you'll see that your life is nothing to hate.
If you recall what my signature quote 2 months ago, it said "You only stop taking something for granted when you lose it for a month; you only truly appreciate it, when you lose it forever."
Try to not let this apply to you.

enjoy what you can as much as possible
society is a nuisance, I couldn't really help you gain in the social rankings, being a nerd limits you to a certain point AKA some people don't care how legit or cool you are, you're a nerd so they hate you anyways, basically these people I would love to beat up and knock some sense into, but your friends are your strengths, hang with them as much as possible and do well in school, in the end those idiots will probably end as people working for you (how ironic isn't it?), the worlds a cruel place, it really needs to learn a few things on respect, good luck out there

You know, Bill Gates was considered a nerd.
He actually worked all of his high school to get mircosoft ready, and founded it when he was only 18! Look where he is now. That could be you in 10 years. So never hate your life, and if today is one of it's drearier days, look to tomorrow for that golden chance to make your life what you want it to be.

You should never hate your self. I bet your a good person with plent of potential. You will always have friends. The bronze sightings may be today, but a platinum sun could be awaiting just on the horizon
Cuss words arent good, and without them, you grow up with a better justified conscience, and strict parents only are strict because they care.
Just think, there are tons of people, in the shadows, doing wrong things because of how they grow up. If you look at the posotives, you can be the better person, and show the world what they did wrong.
There are a lot of people who have 200x as bad of a life as you. There are people with deadly medical conditions, no money to have a single bit of support for they're family, no home to feel safe in, and the emotional pressure put down by constant fear of being murdered.
Be proud that you have the life you have, and that you can shine among people some day.
(i love metaphors)

Don't hate your life. It doesn't do you any good. Hating your life means you don't want to live, and I'm pretty sure you don't want to die.
You've gotta learn that people appreciate you, and even if your parents are strict and you've got a high voice, you should be glad that you are you. I mean, you could be a doorknob, or a puzzle peice left in the dust. But really, the fact that you're ALIVE should make up for all that. I'm sorry that i posted this 2 months after, and maybe you've moved on, but i was browsing through the threads and I saw this and wanted to help
. Sorry, but I really think that everyone alive deserves to live and they should love their life and appreciate it!

It's not what you don't have... it's what you have that counts. You have friends, two of them, when some people don't have any. You have a family, and some people live alone. Be grateful for what you have right now. That's what I did in seventh grade, and now I'm a happy eighth grade nerd and proud of it!

Same. My life can be described as,"a little disappointing..."
I get mocked for my boyish, low voice.
I don't have a phone, laptop, DSi, or iPod when everyone else in school has a least one of those.
My parents are so strict too, it really annoys me.
Same.
Yeah, I only have 2 really close friends, and I only see them at school most of the time.

Just stand up to them with a good person/responsible adult/friend
I don't have cable Cable isn't necessary to survival, besides, it's called http://hulu.com and if you're younger... http://nick.com/videos and http://home.disney.go.com/tv/
My parents are real strict (can't even listen to anything with a cuss word in it)
They just want whats best for you, and listening to cuss words isn't necessary
There's nobody my age In my family or neighborhoodTry and be friendly with some older folks or some younger youth
I only have 2 real friends. make some more, be adventurous and outgoing and say hi to other people, you may become friends
It's hard to look on the possitive side when your me.If you say this, it'll make your more negative, and make it harder to see the positive

You have nothing really to hate as all the issues that you stated are pretty trivial or just temporary.

I think this thread has had its day, since it died out way back in February.
So I'm gonna close it, since it doesn't seem relevant anymore. But I'm glad to hear the author felt that what BillyEdward said was helpful
