Scratch Poems

Since April is Poetry Month, I am here to share a couple of my poems. You may request.

Here a child lies
0 lives left;
Zero heartbeats left.
No longer by my side.

Guess who that is! (I should say WAS...  sad )

Happy laughter,
Children playing.
Everyone is merry.
Why is everyone so glad?
Don't ask me!

Re: Scratch Poems

Scratch.
The typing noise soothes the crying baby
The programming makes a nice challenge for the older child.
The adults watch in awe at the projects,
Under a magicians trance.
As the sun sinks into the sea beyond,
Everyone is still on Scratch.

Goodbye, Misc. Until we meet again.
You're not alone.

Re: Scratch Poems

I would share a poem I posted on dA, but I would get in trouble. Let's just say it contains a violent death.

Re: Scratch Poems

Here's a poem my classmate made.

If I wrote a poem would it make me any better?
Or a book or a song or an organized letter.
Would I become famous and live happily,
If I wrote a poem we will just have to see.
If I wrote a poem would my uncle say,"Good job nephew."
If I wrote a poem and you wrote on two?
If everyone wrote a poem would the world be better?
Or a book or a song or an organized letter.
Would we all be famous and live happily,
If we wrote a poem we'll just have to see.

Re: Scratch Poems

I have some haikus! No matter how hard I try, I suck at rhyming poetry. So I stick to fun, easy haikus!

Here is my fruit-themed haiku:
Oranges are good
Strawberries are a delight
Good for your health-- eat.

ooh, and another one:
My Wacom tablet
Is wonderful for drawing
I so adore it

I am on a roll! Hmmm.... how about:
Sakura flowers
Dancing under the moonlight
In the breezy night

Another twist to that one would be:
Sakura flowers
Dancing under the moonlight
On the wind-blown tree

And yet another one:
Squirrels are crazy
Just like Scrat in Ice Age 3
Chasing his acorn

LOL these are fun! XD

A couple more to prove my geniusness:
The country Japan
Is known for its anime
I want to go there

The country Japan
That is where haikus are from
Aren't they awesome

The country Japan
Has lots of awesome manga
Such as Fruits Basket
(or Naruto!!)

Hikaru no Go
It's a manga about Go
I am reading it

Akihabara
Good shopping place for cosplay
I'd like to visit

Shinjuku Gyoen
A good spot for hanami
Large crowds in the park

The city Tokyo
A place of electronics
Technology rocks

My Japanese Coach
It helps me learn Japanese
You should so buy it

A bowl of ramen
Hot and nice it's yummy food
Naruto loves it

The beautiful moon
A silver sphere in the sky
Sometimes a big cheese

Chicken fajitas
Eat at Lupe Tortilla
The best fajitas

The silent hunter
Sneaks up on his helpless prey
In life's unfair game

Well, if that doesn't prove I'm a poetic genius then what will? Anyway, my fingers hurt from counting the syllables so I'm gonna take a break now. Bye guys!

With fingers aching
Sharlotta finally resigns
From this tiring job

HA! Okay, bai for reals now.

This is my signature.

Don't ask me!

They don't rhyme.

Here's one I did for my 38% failed english assignment.

My name is Jack,
I like to play hacky sack,
In school, I tend to slack,
Which is why I always get a whack,
on the back.

She was supposed to put helpful comments on each poem, but for that one she just wrote "?"

Okay then, here's mine:

A house is a home, shelter, building or structure that is a dwelling or place for habitation by human beings. The term includes many kinds of dwellings ranging from rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes to free standing individual structures. In some contexts, "house" may mean the same as dwelling, residence, home, abode, lodging, accommodation, or housing, among other meanings.
The social unit that lives in a house is known as a household. Most commonly, a household is a family unit of some kind, though households can be other social groups, such as single persons, or groups of unrelated individuals. Settled agrarian and industrial societies are composed of household units living permanently in housing of various types, according to a variety of forms of land tenure. English-speaking people generally call any building they routinely occupy "home". Many people leave their houses during the day for work and recreation, and return to them to sleep or for other activities.

Thanks. It's not my best though. Here's another one. Its like from  a scene in the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, but like kinda different. Its from Harry's perspective, so it does'nt mention his name.

    Music flows through your mind
     Floods into your soul
    Makes the wounds heal.
    Your mind compresses
And with the blood-stained sky shining above
     Peace flies into you.
The pheonix song rings softly in your ears
As you lay yourself down to rest.
The tears revive you, and you are once again alive.      Whaddya think, people?  smile

Re: Scratch Poems

I walk through the hallway
Being teased every which way
I have no life, for me I mourn
Where can I download one?

Soup, this is like a text-based game.

Anyway, you can't download a life.
