Here's my tourney team:
Weavile
Shadow Claw
Ice Punch (as soon as i get those darned blue shards)
Night Slash
Brick Break
Blaziken
Blaze Kick
Brave Bird
Sky Uppercut
Thunderpunch
An dI have no idea what the third Pokemon should be! help! You seam to be going all-out offense here, so it wouldn't hurt to have a good Bulky, Wall, Stall, or Tank pokemon in the third slot.
That's what I was thinking. But my main problem is which pokemon would compliment these two nicely? I can easily get a nice EV trained Blissey or Snorlax, or some other with high defense or HP.
You see, the problem is not What, but Who.
Your team would easily get decimated by a Pokémon with EQ and a Rock type move. BulkyGyara is the way to go.

If that means Gyarados, then I have one with a fairly well HP and Defenses. I can just EV train it and teach it the right moves.
I was thinking some status moves like Toxic, with a good powerful move like Aqua Tail (to compliment its attack).
If anything's wrong, then post.

Just finished training my Gengar. Its a new set, useing HG/SS moves. You'll like it.
PS I beat the elite four my first try. Wasn't easy, and I used my Ho-oh to stall out his dragonite, but it was done.
PSS WHere is the move tutor in HG?All the people who deal with pokemon moves (move deleter, tutor, ultimate dragon move tutor and ultimate starter move tutor) in HG/SS are in the city that has the 8th gym. Which is blackthorn city I think.
Thanks. Now I can finish it.
Anyone know of a place where I can buy berries in Platinuim? Preferably the EV Reducing kind?
im pretty sure in the basement of the pokemon department

QUESTION:
I've decided to go on a topic secret mission and get a new pokemon game. (I'm guessing Blue Version is kind of outdated.)
Should I...
1) Get Heart Gold
2) Wait for the Black and White versions
3) Get Pearl/Diamond versions
Thanks.

Heartgold is the way to go. Although I'm probably not gonna buy it and just download a ROM or an Emulator for it.

Haven't been on for a while due to issues with my DS which are sorted now.
I've beaten all 16 gyms in SS, but my strongest Pokemon is a lvl 78 Feraligatr, so I doubt I'll be fighting Red soon.

Question DJM:
If I get a tank on my team, would Gyarados or Aggron be a better addition?

You need not be so high in level (70s or 80s) to beat Red. He's quite very possible if you have Pokemon at least in the mid 50s. You just need strategy, such as hail stalling (bring a tank like a Blissey, or Snorlax or something). Or you could be a n00b and bring a Wobbufett if your really don't want to train all your Pokemon but I would't recommend that method.

Gyarados.
Aggron doesn't work as well defensively due to his poor special defense and 4x weakness to fighting and ground.
@Epik: Or I could just trade across a few of my level 100 EV trained Pokemon to make it easier for myself....
