With NetScratch you can do so, but that has yet to be released. Sorry, there's no exisiting way... yet. But what you can do is have people put their high-score in a comment, then make a high-score board in the project notes.

Using mesh with something like online battles, or even something as simple as pong, it would be SLOW. Not SLOW, but SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

Guys - simple solution! I have managed to make a 'online' highscores. It is well working, and does not fail! The website I made (http://scratchscores.tk/) is the site where it all happens. You see, mesh is made to mesh two or more programs on the same computer, but, we rigged up mesh to a server, and that server can go between computers. It's like a wire rigging all the computers up. So, the information goes through the server and to your computer. You can view highscores right from the website, published from your computer!

in my new mod, atom, there will be a 'multiplayer' category that will have score related blocks that submit the score to a website. sadly though it's not been released yet! sad
