Huh? So the pass is what? I'm confused. What is the latest update? Markyparky, the link you gave me just lead to the one I have.

Ok, cool. I might try the text file - can I put a file on the website to test it?

Right, I uderstand the images now, I don't suggest putting them in until the project gets stable - it could make it laggy.

feel free, I gave you the password for a reason. You can edit the site if you want to improve it.

if it led you to a set of files, rather than a zip, then that's them, it looks like the same ones but the panther.image file has been updated. Just replace your .image file with the new one... beware, when I did that, it deleted my panther.changes file and the squeakv2 sources file too, you defo need them.

I think he uploaded it with fill screen off, so if there is no stage, just turn it back on.

it's still called 1.1, but it's been updated. As nXIII put it, it's really more like 0.1.1 anyway.

yes, it's on my page (though incomplete, any mod should be able to work it out).

Re: Panther development thread

Unfortunaltly, the test didn't work, I tried to get Panther to read the uploaded file using the sample file reading project, but it just added a blank item to the list.
I need to somehow just get a plain text file uploaded somewhere where panthe will read it so I won't have to worry about extra html on the site. Any ideas anyone?

Re: Panther development thread

unless we can make a page devoid of any HTML, no. You can't read a file that is stored online, because it would have to be downloaded and opened first. not only is that not useful, it would cause serious virus threats if it were possible. I think we're either gonna have to hack out any unessescary stuff, maybe with an algorithm or formulae that applies to everything, or... I don't know, I think a page without any HTML might be possible, but I don't know, ask someone who does more html than me.

Re: Panther development thread

Just to ask, who made the Cloning example 2? Its not very example-ish, since all it does is produce a black box which is dragable... Maybe we should swap it for that exploding version on the site?

Re: Panther development thread

haha, if you're talking about the exploding blob thing with e springs and gears, that was me  tongue  all the example projects provided with Panther were done by nXIII and I think we should have a chance to work on sample projects that go with the download too.

Im working on a game chatroom where you can talk to someone else and beat them up at the same time! Ninja Vs Necromancer version! iv implemented a background changer done through key words and a clear chat room keyword which clears the messages. I might be able to make it 3 people in a later version of course. And if MathWhizz is able to, maybe it could be online aswell? If that works.

oh yes, because nothing sends a thrill down someone's spine like beating people they don't know up while talking to them?

Sperry, you mean that if you type in something like http://google.co.uk it will not read anything?
