I don't know how you can call Mars Explorer a substitute for Scratch. Admitedly, it is fun, but not so much that it could replace Scratch. They aren't even related! As for unity3d, I GUESS I can see what you are talking about, but please finish out these collaborations first!

Or at least noninate someone as the new head, or are you going to leave Prism a headless snake?

I'm going to finish this collab first.

Ok. But why Unity? It looks rather limited, since its only for iphone/iPod Touch. (I only skim read though)

Skim reading gets people into trouble.  wink  All the iPod stuff is because Unity just released support for the iPad. Unity also includes support for the wii, computers, etc.

Blocks such as:
Mesh blocks
File blocks (Can read external files, im trying to use this to make a highscoring example project)
Able to create variables on the spot, then delete them again
Able to create lists on the spot and delete them again
Stretch blocks
Can sumon up to 17 million different colours (Thats a lot compared to the 20,000 in scratch)
New operator blocks and a whole lot more!

No 20,000. That's with integer values.

@ The-Whiz: I downloaded Unity, but I can't make heads or tails of it, and I didn't know you could. I had no clue you knew C and/or java, along with advanced 3D techniques! If so, can you teach me?

@Everyone else: Panther will be great if it is released soon enough. I DON'T want to wait past the beginning of summer for its release.

You might as well be. In fact, pretty much everyone in this collab. has had a lot of weight in our projects so far... Which is why I wanted to start Photon. It is rare to have such a great group of programmers working together.

I'm not the one to ask... And I don't know C or java, although I want to learn it. I've just been using it to create 3D environments...

Re: Prism

Maybe you could make a couple simple tutorials showing users how to create terrain and such. That'd be a huge help for me. It is just the extreme basics like where
to click or confirm that extreme beginners like me need to learn, but are so simple to everyone else that they are just ignored.

We're aiming to release it by the end of April, we're just trying to pack as many goodies into it as possible, but just a thing to say, the variables are different so importing scratch projects into it and saving it you lose the values, its just ebcause nXIII changed them for some reason.

Wait, what is obsolete? Do you mean the Panther variable blocks opened in Scratch? If so, yes, because the blockSpec dict doesn't have them.

A note on Panther-
I have been in this collab for a while, and two of the members are on the Panther team, so even if we do not release Panther by the beginning of summer we can still use it for Photon. I will just release a password-protected image and give everyone in the collab the password. However, it does not support BYOB any more than Scratch does because it has its own system of block creation (which happens to be more powerful than BYOB.)

I think that there should be atomic repeat blocks...
