I have been playing around with the Source Code, and I recently discovered that on the sensing tab, you have a line between the block. What I would like to know, is why can I only copy this effect on the Sensing Tab.

FOUND IT!!!

If you go to (in the system browser) Scratch-Objects>ScratchSpriteMorph>(Class side)block specs>blockspecs , and scroll to the botom, you will notice this:

#~ ('%H sensor value' #r #sensor: 'slider') ('sensor %h?' #b #sensorPressed: 'button pressed')
notice the "~" after the "#" instead of the usual "#-"? That is it. If you change it to "#-", it no longer shows the bar.

It's because the message 'blockPageForSensing' in ScriptableScratchMorph recognizes ~ symbols differently than all other pages. If you want, you could theoretically make a third spacing symbol like #= that inserts it... I can show you how if you want.

I dont know if its possible, but its likely they can... but it would be good if they did.
