Anyone know a martial art here? (I R BOARD)
I'm really bored ._. I'm taking Karate atm. I'm still a white belt.

I'm thinking of taking karate in the summer. Although it might be a bit awkward since I'll be like 6 feet tall in the beginner class with a bunch of 10 year olds

I used too take karate at the ymca but I didn't like it that much. ( Only was a white belt ).

guess what? I bet most of you would never be able to use karate in your entire life.
1. Its just a series of manuvers and defense moves you will probably never use unless you try them out and fail
2.half of those karate studios you go to, you basically PAY for your belt. One of those studios is United studios of self defense.
3.Take ju jitsu.

1. I don't what kind of whack studio you went to. It isn't just manueuvers and defence moves, and we can't fail because we utilize what we learn while we spare. One of my teachers is #1 in sparing, #1 at karas, and #3 at weapons in the U.S.
2. We're USA Karate and Our studio is different. We do MMA, but it's mainly Karate. We will also learn Ju Jitsu and we also do situtation defence manuevers. Right now we're learning how to disarm and knife or gun from someone.
3. Why?
I'm graduating HS this April and going to college in the Fall.

Oh yea, I've seen Brazillian Ju jitsu- deadly stuff. But Shodokhan style Karate is deadly as well.
