When I open and read a post in the forum, there is no visual indication that it has been read.
The only way that I can get a visual indication that forum posts have been read is to click on the link that says something like "Mark all posts read."
Is this normal?

I dunno if it's normal, but Firefox has version 3 out for download now. It's only a beta, but it works

This is an update. I get the same results with Internet Explorer 7.0.5703.11
What does it take to cause an individual Scratch forum post to take on a different appearance once you have read it?

Yes. It gets 'read' after being 'unread' for some amount of time; whenever you actually read it or not has no effect on it.

Sounds pretty strange to me. Seems like they could do much better than that.
Anyway, thanks for the info.
