Well as the subject of this topic clearly says, I am new here. The main reason that I joined scratch is because I heard about how fun and yet how complex it can be to be a part of the scratch community. Sure the programming is simple but hey, does JavaScript have a community as close and as helping as this? I originally got into scratch because of a school project, and I have decided to make an account. I hope grow and prosper in the scratch community.

Ehh, what do you mean by "Could it be..?". Explaining that to me is not an obligation, but telling me would keep my confusion down. Anyway, thanks for paying attention to someone that is so new to Scratch.

It's just that I know someone named Tom who would talk in exactly your manner.

Oh. I'm not very diverse when it comes to my personality.

Hey AT. Mind if I call you that?
You're leaving a very good first impression, if I do say so myself. Good grammar and well-thought out paragraphs, what could go wrong? Usually I post this little guide to help:

Hi, AT. Check out this HUGE Tip:
Choose your Idols: You must first snoop around the actual site and choose some of your favorite scratchers. Examples:
Paddle2see (Whami is one of his/her biggest fans(I know Whami in real life)),
M44 (I'm his/her biggest fan),
archmage (I used to be his biggest fan, but he plays around with the mathematical/phisics part of scratch instead of sticking to games)
RHY3756547(Complicated name;Great scratcher) and
NikkiPerson2(The funniest scratcher; I was her biggest fan before she quit)

Can I be your Idol? I have good games coming out soon...

Greatdane, thanks for the links to help on using scratch but I already have experience when it comes to programming so I will be rarely needing help. I'm working on a Windows XP simulator right now, but anyway thanks for the help.
So, I'm not really much of a newbie anymore.
