Creating stand-alone exe files

Imagine if you could create your own games to run without opening Scratch! We'd be able to play our own Scratch games without the hassle of opening Scratch, pressing the green flag(which could be replaced with a start button in a your own custom menu) and going into presentation mode.

Re: Creating stand-alone exe files

Jens has created a utility called Scratch2exe (search for it in the Advanced Topics area) that runs on Windows PCs that allows you to do that.  Also, there is a way to set up shortcuts to Scratch projects so they open directly in Presentation mode (again, on Windows PCs).
