Yea, I just finished it.... AND MORE! I have reporters, too. My image is still the official, though, because I have to redesign the variables parser, which might be slightly annoying.... So anyway, just post the code and I will make sure they look the same.
Reporters for what?
I think it tells the ip address... am i right?

wow! neat stuff! msh blocks up and running!
I've been working on a project that is supposed to let you manage your text files. The problem I have is that you have to type in th file name (and path if nesesscary) to access a file, or the project has to guess the file name. I also have the problem that if a file does not exist, it freezes up the whole script and gives it the red halo of doom.
here are the two blocks I think would help.
<file [C:\\mt documents\example.txt] exists?>
(name of file (1) in folder [C:\\program files\Panther1.0\Panther])
pros:
• A program can locate a blank file, list the files you own and choose either a blank file or a file with the correct content by itself.
Cons:
• a simple program could speedily clear all the information inside every file in the specified folder.
Basically, with the increased dexterity of Panther, the downfall is that programs can now actually be if not dangerous, then at least rather irritating. Already I have tested that 1script 360X480 pixil sprite in a cloning loop takes only 70 clonings to radically slow mouse tracking and graphic displaying. clones with several running scripts each could be expected to take even less times than that... I'm not going to try it.
For the first time, Scratchers moving on to Panther will have to have a quick look over the scripting before pressing the green flag, and we ought to mention that to them.
I reckon that if we can get the I/O warning to be specific then that would help and make it safer, eg this message: "The project is trying to clear file "file name.txt"" or "this project is trying to write to file "file name.txt"" so that people can see the action taking place.
WOAH! If we have that new Panther file with the Mesh blocks, won't that have any updates done by nXIII since he uploaded the file last missing? what about that .dll files for full screen & stuff?

can't test it. my internet is too secure and I can't get it to make an exception for Scratch. It's not the firewall, that lets it through fine, I can even mesh with two computers on my network but it won't let me connect externally >

ooh! Panther can read Word documents! unfortunately it also adds a load of gobbldygook at regular intervals that would be invisible if it was viewed in Word. It would probably be possible to get a script to edit this out, but tbh, what's the point? good old notepad is fine.

UUGH! I need my friend to download Panther, and he wants to, but his mom kicked us off the computer before I could show him the site. If he gets it, then I can.
HELP!

Don't worry, I have the mesh blocks, too and the DLL's.

Yea, I'll make them tomorrow.
Cons don't really apply, the warning SAYS to read through the scripts.
I will add the specific file thingy.

So click 'stop'
It says online, but I'm not anymore.

huh? I redownloaded Panther and you haven't updated that download file because there are no mesh blocks and presentation still does not work.

Yes Sep, theres still time, iv almost finished mine, but is there time to add a late addition? I really need a sort block for the list section. (Im looking up sorting lists right now, but it would help a lot if I had a sort block.

mmm, I'm pretty sure Jens had a sort block in this version of scratch: http://www.chirp.scratchr.org/blog/?p=16
we could ask him?

I think he made that in the build your own block part of it.

that happened to me once with Panther, red boxes left right and centre. It wouldn't let me save and I had to export all the sprites and force Panther to close using ctrl+alt+del menu.

No, i mean its like i didn't save, its obviously saved before, but i didn't get any red boxes, it had pinged at me several times, like it was't happy, the same noise that i makes with the full screen thing, im going to have to look at the pictures I took and go from there.
Highscore update!
Not that well, I'm having trouble re-making it... kind annoying, plus its having trouble collecting information from the highscore file... I've got another idea, but i dont know if it'll work.
