Hello!
I want to follow the Terms of Use better (I have been using it correctly,) but the first time I read the whole thing was today. Is there A way that I can check for my violations or If I have any?

Hey EmperorEvil, there's no way to check up on one's own list of violations - in fact, in the forums, we don't keep such a list!
In terms of the forums, the Scratch Team and Scratch Forum moderators don't really keep tally on violations each person has committed - rather, cases of violations of the Terms of Use are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In cases where the actions tend to be pretty severe, us moderators make note of the inappropriate behavior and discuss it with the Scratch Team, but it's nothing like an official list, per se. The Scratch Team is the one in charge of dealing with users violating the Terms of Use, so us moderators usually contact the Scratch Team about users acting inappropriately - what happens beyond that point depends on the severity of the situation.

Also, if you do something that pushes the rules, the Scratch Team will send you a notification.

The best thing to so is just check the "Terms of use" and make sure that you are following everything that it says you should. Then you shouldn't have any problems.

I have a question about this. (Maybe a mod/Scratch Team member can answer)
I flagged a project because it was a complete copy of another one and no credit was given, but I received a message about how remixing was a good thing and stuff, even though I explained that the project was a complete copy and provided a link when I flagged it. Why was the message sent to me? Did I do something wrong?

I've heard that you have to explain v-e-r-y carefully about it... but ouchie.

Well, I learned all I needed to know here. I will not be on this forum anymore. Thank you all!

Hey nXIII, you can Contact the Scratch Team about the issue. Perhaps it was just a misunderstanding of some sort.
