I do It anyway. Show and tell is a nice place. You meet unknown scratchers and you can help them with their projects (despite my sig, i'm all ideas really)

I view a lot of projects in the newest section
I'm up to the challenge! 
If it's the scratcher's first project, I usually finish my comment with something like "btw, welcome to scratch!" unless they speak a different language

I love the Idea of helping young scratchers not quit! The only problem is:
How are we going to stop older scratchers that seem discourages to stop from quitting??
