He stole the concept of a forum for scratch? But if that is the case then wouldn't you have stolen the idea for scratch forums from these forums or maybe even JSO's forums at his scratch resources site?

There is hardly any new thing that is not based on something that already exists. Computers were based on calculators and mechanical machines. Televisions were based on radios. Scratch was based on other programming languages. Forums are based on bulletin boards. Can something be stolen when you still have it?
