A Way To Solve The 60-Second Problem

How about you have to wait 60 seconds to post in the same topic?

Like, I could go to a Infinifish discussion and post something, then immediatly go to a sprite request and post something.

That way, we don't have spammed topics, and the 60-second rule is half solved!

Re: A Way To Solve The 60-Second Problem

Spammers who make multiple topics would spam easily then. If it were 60 seconds per category it wouldn't work either.

Re: A Way To Solve The 60-Second Problem

That would "force" spammers to use multiple threads, which takes far more time to clean up...  hmm

But the 60 second rule is a very strict item; I doubt it will be changed.  sad

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

Re: A Way To Solve The 60-Second Problem

That doesn't work - spammers could just go from one topic to the next, posting their spam.

A way to stop spam: IP ban all IPs on this site: stopforumspam.com
Then we don't need the rule, because we'd of banned tons of spammers.

That would help somewhat but that doesn't really mean that all of the spammers on that site, spam on scratch.

I personally don't really mind the "60 second rule" because it gives us more time to make our post's as great as they can be.

Re: A Way To Solve The 60-Second Problem

Well, some of you may disagree, but I think this is the way to do it.

Oh, and maybe you have to wait 2 minutes to post topics?
