Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Ridiculous Virtual Memory Usage

Scratch hogs VM memory on my mac. It uses almost 1.5GB of Virtual Memory. I don't know if this is the Squeak VM or Scratch. Maybe the leak is causing VM to be overused:

Code:

Apr  2 09:08:36 rrcs-24-43-234-11 Scratch[148]: *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x209d30 of class NSCFString autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking\nStack: (0x91c2ff4f 0x91b3c432 0x91b44cbe 0x91b6083a 0x91b6379b 0x91b3c8da 0x91b6371e 0x36c22)

Re: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Ridiculous Virtual Memory Usage

you can solve the fan problem by taking a low powered vaccum cleaner to ur fans. My windows had somthing i couldn't see in them, and it sounded like my computer was gonna blow up any second. I sucked it out with the vaccum =P

The problem is in the MIT's hands to solve, they just have no answer yet.
