I'm making an AMV, and I found the perfect song to go with the animation.
It's called," My life would su*k without you"
I have NO IDEA whether I can use it or not. If a mod comes along, it would be nice if they told me whether it'd be okay to use this sog or if I should find a better one. There is no swearing in it, other than when they say the title.
Thanks, and scratch on!

That word isn't really that bad. (eg "This game sucks" isn't inaproppriate)
Although it's not very nice.
I wouldn't want someone to tell me that... and you probably wouldn't either.

Since the religion topics are gone, I suggest that we censor hell and un-censor $ucks.
Just throwing in a pointless opinion :3

The usage of "su*ks" in that song sounds ok to me. But saying someone's Scratch project suc*ks would not be cool at all. it is, however, ok to say you don't like something, as long as it is done respectfully, and constructively.
Right now "su*ks" is censored on the forums, but we'll talk about that and consider changing it.
Scratch On!

It'll be ok. The thing is it's not saying anyone/anything sucks, so it's fine.

Thanks for answering, I was thinking that no one would care

"su*ks" Should be uncensored in the forums when it's used like this: I like to suck on my popsicle.

If you ever have a doubt, give a warning before the animation. That's what us WOTFers do with gore and strong language.

Gore and strong language? o_o I don't mind gore and language, but if you put that in a Scratch project someone would perfectly go and flag it... And if you just describe gory scenes when RPing I think it may be flagged too.

If you uncensor it, will you do the same in the TBG?

You can always do that yourself, TBG moderator.
(Do you have to ask first, though?)

Actually, he can't. They don't have access to the entire admin panel

Yep, in all forums I've been only admins can mess with the word filters. Moderators just keep the site clean from spam and offensive stuff.

I can view the list, but I can't make any changes - it's done on a seperate page for administrators.

Pages or words? If pages - there isn't a list. If words - why would I post them?

We aren't little cat pussies like people think.
We give warnings, once again Like,"This project has intense gore. This is a warning, click to continue."
Gory scenes are described all the time. ^^ We don't mind, we are buds.

Why did you bump this?
"Suck" is allowed now... but I still don't want to use it.

Would the song '* Bomb' be considered okay if I put a warning?
When it comes to inappropriate content on Scratch, warnings are not taken into consideration, since they can't stop people from viewing the material anyway. If you're going to share something on the site, it should be viewable by all ages.
Since the original question of this topic was answered (yes, you can use the song!) I'm going to close this.
