I was walking on a feild trip today on the marsh. I was going under a tree. (it was blocking the path and the only way to get across was to limbo under it) I hit my head and blood was on my jeans! I had to go to the emergency room and I had to get 6 staples! It hurt. And whats also bad is that my birthday is tomorrow. What a GREAT birthday gift. Here's the order of wat happened.
1 hit head
2 went up to parking lot to get back to school and see nurse
3 Drove in principals car to school and saw nurse
4 nurse called emergency contact.
5 emergency contact arrives
6 dad arrives
7 went to emergency room (Which does NOT look like the ones on TV)
8 got staples. (which isnt as bad as stitches)
9 went home
10. here i am, writing this, just hours after it happened!
Its not big. Its a little deep and about an inch long, but it bled a lot and i got a few scrapes on my forehead. sad I'm totally OK, but i cant wash my hair or comb it thoroughly. ( I can put water in my hair but no shampoo, which means I cant wash out all the blood and dirt in my hair!) This was the most scary day ever. sad Im having the staples removed next friday. Number of times cried today: 4 NOT AN APRIL FOOL! Im not even kidding about this one bit!

It could have been worse.

At least you haven't slipped on a treadmill and gotten part of your skin shaved off, a full size dresser hasn't fell on your foot, and at least you don't have deformed fingers.

Ouch... I spent the day before my 10th birthday (3 years, 6 months and three days ago now, on September 30th 2006) in the Accident and Emergency ward of our local hospital. I got hit by the rear of a stationary car (long story...), knocked myself out, and compressed my spine hmm I know how it feels... sad

I had something happen to me. A kid at school rode his bike into mine. (Head on and he was on the wrong side!!). I fell off onto a car park bay and got cuts on my left knee, left elbow and left hand. I got up and rode 9km home all while bleeding. Well back on track,

@Musicstar:Sorry about that, hope your days lighten up. ^^

I fell in the mud, tripped on a concrete wall and severley damaged my knee, got hit near...the.... you know what I mean... and cut up all of my hands. I then got cramps at gym, headaches, and then had to go to a 2 hour seperate after school activity. Learning activity. ><

Ditto. I'm 11, but I still play Portal, Left 4 Dead, and Halo.

I'm allowed to play Modern Warfare 2, but it sucks.

Musicstar, Happy Birthday!

I know that your experience is bad, everything's bad, but be glad for what you have! Your family, your house, (your birthday presents will be even bigger tongue ).

I have been injured so many times, I remember I was hit in the head too and blood poured out and I was crying and it hurt immensly.

I got 4 staples in the head that kinda hurt.

But, what I can tell you that is useful is that when those staples are removed(weeks or months later) you don't even feel it. smile
