I am making a group of projects all about how to play the guitar! So far, Basic Guitar Chords has been made, and it shows you a bunch of guitar chords and how to play them. These chords have been used in famous songs, even! The chord progression D Major, C Major, G Major has been used in songs such as Hey Jude, by the Beatles, and Sweet Home Alabama, by Lynyrd Skynyrd!Using these chords you can make up your own chord progression and turn them into songs, with lyrics and everything. In fact, I am working on doing that right now! This is where it all starts. Have fun!
Update: Tuning Your Guitar has come out, so now all you aspiring guitarists can tune your guitars!
P.S. Don't forget to join my Play The Guitar! gallery! More guitar projects will be released soon.
Here is what will be included in this series (bold has not already been done):
Basic Chords
Tuning your guitar
Some guitar scales
A virtual guitar online (possibly)
How to read Guitar music
Notes on the guitar
How to read Guitar Tablature
Tab/notes for a few popular songs
Chords that go well together

Sounds nice - I play the Acoustic Guitar, but I never got to learn much about chords. I'll check it out.

Nice! How about a project on how to tune the guitar to itself? That would be pretty handy!

Good idea! Thanks for the idea! I was also thinking of having a project about simply notes on the guitar, as appose to chords, but tuning is a wonderful idea and it is neccesary to know if you want to learn how to play the guitar! Again, brilliant idea!
I was also working on, or attempting, to recreated B-Reyn428's project Guitar Player and try and incorperate frets so you can literally play the guitar online, but the notes don't seem to be working right and I think that is a bit of programming I am not ready to manage yet.
Again, thanks for the idea, Paddle2See!

You could try to explain complex cords like 9's, 11's, and 13s. Also, I make up little chord progressions all the time if you want to know a few. And, you could make a chord progression maker, like blues progression, or rock, whatever, and let the user solo to that. Also, showing them basic scales, even penatonics**. Anyway, I may come up with more suggestions.

Great! I have an acoustic guitar but lately it has been collecting dust because I don't know how to play it. I'll be seeing your projects!
