Besides, at least you get paid to go to work and can choose what you get into.

I think that school is at least something to do.  If you just stayed at home you would get bored.  Unless you had a job, you'd probably be sitting at home 24/7 watching repeat T.V. shows and buying new video games every day.  I do pretty well at school (but i only have good friday and easter monday for break!)  and still can't believe that people can get "U"s in my language arts class.

We do need education!  At least, I know I do.  I want to be a computer engineer and a novelist someday, and I'll need school if I'm going to do that.

Mine starts at 8:40 but we sit around doing nothing for 20 minutes.

Sounds like my old elementary school.  We didn't do anything until nine.

8AM is early?

I call 6:45 waking up late. 

Around what area do you live? Just the state. I don't want any closer. Just curious.

I actually am a bit of a nerd, I go to the the lowest school in the area with a 945/1000 passing rate.
