I meant that they could be sidetracked from scratch while they used the new feature.
Example:
I am on Facebook. Let me comment from Facebook about this scratch project. Let me get off of scratch so I could now talk to my friends and tell them what I am doing on Facebook.
And, what do you mean by "and i dont think they are neccessary..."?Not posting comments from facebook to the scratch projects! they ment getting feeds from facebook or twitter which can be used in the scratch project.
I know. I was talking about the feeds. And when I think about it, it sort of sounds like propaganda.
Propaganda?! Where did you get that from?

One question - are multiple client project creation and high scores features that you guys are considering? If so I would probably make a project about that.
I wish they would be implemented. But with that there is a risk of chatroom projects. There is nothing wrong with what the scratch team intends though.
Chatroom projects which allow inappropriate content can be flagged. Or scratch can implement a feature to flag people using the online service...

i think RHY is completely right. how often have YOU wanted to make a multiplayer game, but scratch was restricting you? by my view, this would pull in many more gamers who are looking for multiplayer games! this would cause the scratch community to almost DOUBLE in size! i think that multiple client servers would be perfect! i ceratinly would think they would be better...

What if you don't agree with a certain idea? Can you give your testimonial on that or not.What are you trying to say, if you dont want something and you want them to know about it?
I was asking if I can make a project saying why a certain feature shouldn't be implemented. I was just asking to make sure that this is fine with them, so no incidents occur.
Yes, we welcome different opinions. Thanks!

It sounds like another way to advertise those certain sites on the scratch website via feeds. The main thing I say is that it is not absolutely necessary.

Yep! I agree.

Cool illusionist! But why would you need to save space for blocks? IMO, there's already enough room.

T_T I really, REALLY don't like the idea of making it possible to create/remix projects online. If you do, could you at least make an option where we could have a newer version of Scratch, but still be able to do it offline? I seriously don't trust things online at all. And, I agree that implementing sites such as Facebook would be a REALLY bad idea. I think some things you SHOULD do are, A) More blocks (EG: 'repeat until I receive <broadcasted message>, 'Previous costume', and others that people have requested), B) active Mesh and make it run properly, C) The ideas listed by other users above.

These ideas sound great! Except for maybe the Facebook and Twitter and all that, I'm not allowed to have an account yet. And maybe the online Scratch, it might be cool, but it kinda makes Scratch into more of an online game that a programming language... But new features for companies and collabs be great, and Scratch on iPhone and things like that would be epic

If the scratch team did that, I'd be SPEECHLESS! That would be awesome in SO many ways! And also - maybe we could turn some projects into apps for Ipods and Iphones? Not animations, but like any type of decorating games, virtual card games, scrolling games, virtual pets etc.! That would be so cool!
Plz do everything you guys said in the projects in 2.0, that would be AWESOOOOOME!!!!!!

You mean like a compiler? That would be good...
@Scratchteam
Since scratch is going to flash, will that mean that it will be easier to convert things to exe's (And maybe .swf files?)

Thats just going too far, you know that, no one ever said that it was a game, where are you guys getting the idea that it will turn into a game if it goes online?! i dont see how that makes you think its a game. Scratch will still be a programming language!

I like all the ideas that the Scratch team has for Scratch 2.0. A suggestion for making it easier for companies to collab; The ability to create a "room" with a password and set username list so that only company members could come into the room. The owner of the room (company leader or whatever) could edit the username list, password, and kick anyone out of the room. In the room, company members can collab on Scratch projects more easily.

It's already treated like a game anyways, and if it was online it would make it feel like Club Penguin or something of the sort. :\

Club penguin? When would scratch be like club penguin? It'll just be like scratch, but in a brower, make your preject, click the share button, it shares, same as normal, but your doing in online.
@steppenwulf
Its an interesting idea, but that would just end up like a chatroom, and be used as a chatroom.

By that I just meant it would feel like any online game.
