One easy way to learn more about Scratch is to go to the All About Scratch section of the forums and browse through the topics there and ask any questions you have.
I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

Let me add:
Also go search for other games on the scratch website to learn how to do other things, download and view the scripting, play around with it, remix it and upload your version. Thats how scratch works.

The username's Doodle0s, but you can call me Jake for short. Pretty much I'm into the game programming aspect of scratch, and I'm hoping to get this whole thing down XD. I'm a mouse artist, so it takes me a long time to do stuff, so don't rush me XD. The current project I have running is a neat little game, that's currently in the spriting stage (note: I do my own sprites BH XD).
And just for the lols, I think I'll add that I'm on a site called deviantArt XD
