Eliminate Upper Case Letters

as you know, server disk space is always tight.  it has been suggested that we get rid of all the upper-case letters (capital letters) on the scratch forums and the rest of the website to save space.  lower-case letters are smaller so you can pack more of them into a given disk space area.

what do you guys think - would it be too confusing?

we are also considering requiring everybody to use cell phone texting spellings to save more space.  wht do u thk?

They should remove all space characters too: they are not visible anyway, and they are numerous, so lot of disk space (sic) will be saved!

how about you do an experiment. on the announcements, tell everyone in advance that we will be able to talk only in lowercase and text speak for a few days/hours/etc, starting on the (example) 7th of April. then, after the time limit is up, make another thread asking whether it should be like that for a longer period of time. after that, get everyone's opinion on lowercase and text speak only.
