I recently got a comment on a gallery by someone called The Virus. Could that be an actual virus, or a user with a strange name? I flagged the comment.

If there is someone making offensive comment just flag the comments. Also, you can't get viruses from just loading web pages.

I'm pretty sure they are in fact the same person and he/she is just playing some kind of game. Best to just ignore them both.

A virus wouldnt be named, "the virus" because then you'ed delete it (and it worked, because you did) and the virus wouldnt affect anyone else. So the virus maker wouldnt make a virus called "theVirus" therefore, it was just some user.

i couldnt find thevirus. he is probably nothing thouh so just treat him like regular user.
but preform frequent scans just to be safe.

Yeah, he/she is annoying. Just ignore him/her.

On my Hist of Scratch project he said "bow down to me" or something. Again, I just ignore him/her.

Good idea. I have not gotten any more things from him, but if I do, I will just ignore the comments... or delete them, if they are saying really stupid things.

Once one of my projects got barged in by that ScratchPolice dude and I was really offended! but a few months later EGEmedia(yay) tried to end it. Well, I'm in the prison, but EGEmedia also told me about this TheVirus person. Exactly how does he 'destroy' that 'hobo' or whoever he is?

BTW, I found TheVirus! All I did was type in the adress!

Very dramatic. It is always very interesting how media figures like famous actors and politicians build up fantastic or infamous reputations that affect the way people think about them. TheVirus and ScratchPolice seem to have a similar sense of brand image...very dramatic! They are both Scratch users and are not part of the official Scratch team, so it is important that they do not confuse users in any way that misrepresents Scratch.

EGEmedia, I don't know if you like science fiction books, but there is one called Enders Game, by Orson Scott Card. It is about a child genius who changes the world by...well I don't want to ruin the story...but part of it includes him and his sister becoming secret advisors to world leaders using pseudonyms (secret identities). You might like it wink
