Just a minute ago, I tried a few hacks that I have done in the past. Now, 1.4 stops me at the first steps and makes a block from completing the hack. Does anybody know any hacks that can be done on 1.4?

All of them.... But are you talking about the "getting into the source"stage?
Yes. That's the part I'm having trouble with.

why don't you just shift click the R in Scratch?
Yes, that is the easiest way... although I'm STILL not sure if it goes against the TOS.
My advice: download the source code.

I can't download the source code, because there is no "Extract all" option when I right click!

I see it. BUT there is noe option to extract, and when I try to open it it tells me to select an image file, but then it says that none exist.

you need to click turn fill screen off not turn error catching off.
It AUTOMATICALLY turns error catching off when you turn fill screen off so that changes you make don't just highlight in red: they come up with a walkback or whatever.

right click on nowhere in the folder, so your not selectin anything, and click "Extract all...." or "Extract to..."
And I know where to download the source code. I just don't know how to get into squeak from theeeeere.
Copy 'Scratch.exe' to the root source folder and rename it or whatever, then run it.

What about the image file? That IS essential.

Turn off error catching, then do
(( 1 </> 0 ))
[/blocks]
and double-click on it,
and the red error thing should pop up.

It just says "Error!" and nothing else.

Here's how to get into the source code for 1.4. You need to have a scratch window open.
1. Shift+click on the R in the Scratch logo.
2. Click "turn fill screen off." A white space should appear on the bottom and right of the screen.
3. Right-click on the white space.
4. Click open -> browser.

There is no extract all button on my computer! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THAT?
