Frequent Updates

One new version of Scratch every YEAR gets old, fast.

...after Scratch 2.0, I would like to start seeing tiny updates, weekly maybe.

Re: Frequent Updates

One update a year doesn't sound too bad, it's much better than never.

With new updates comes new bugs, weekly updates would create so many problems, imo. .

The Scratch team are not dumb robots.
They are the geniuses behind everything you see here.

More like:

2.0.1
2.0.2
2.0.3

Re: Frequent Updates

Do you think that the Scratch Team has enough time to do that, though?

Re: Frequent Updates

But you would have to download Scratch weekly.  hmm
And the Scratch Team would be overloaded...

Re: Frequent Updates

Maybe the Scratch Team could just make an update whenever there were a few things they wanted to implement (enough that it wouldn't be a waste of time).

Hopefully that would be an update every month/few months.

Re: Frequent Updates

It would be better if scratch was updated when there was a new feature that the scratch team wanted to add or something...
Not just every year.

Re: Frequent Updates

I guess it is possible, considering it will be an online program, so you won't have to re-download anything.

Re: Frequent Updates

Scratch 2 is online and offline. Andres said that.

Maybe there could be an auto-update feature in Scratch 2?
