Test accounts

I have noticed that a lot of people have test accounts. I just wanted to clarify if it is okay to have a test account. I would like to make one, but I don't want to break the rules. Please reply.

Re: Test accounts

Why would you need an alternate account?

Because I would like to reserve my main account for finished games.

Re: Test accounts

The only way you can get in trouble for having multiple accounts is if you use one to break the terms of use. So don't worry, test accounts are fine.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: Test accounts

Lots of users have test accounts. archmage, Scratch's best expert, has one named "the_apprentice". Kileymeister has one, juststickman has one, almost all of the experts have one!

Re: Test accounts

It`s fine for uploading test or preview projects, but the problem comes when someone creates a duplicate account and just uses it to click "Love it" on all their projects.

Try my latest game, Rolling 2, a 10-level platform game based around the gravity marble.
