Programming programs

I'm looking for a good programing program to go to. No, I'm not stopping my scratching, but I want to try to go to another level that lets me type the code. I'm trying to get an idea of what and how aI can do a front page worthy proget on scratch, but my mind is somewhat going blank. Please post a link to the download of a easy programming program.
By the way, I'm teaching myself python already.

Re: Programming programs

i assume you have a windows. there are unlimited free demos of both blitz3d and blitzplus. they are both very easy to learn, and if you want more features you can buy the full version.

Re: Programming programs

If you want to learn another language just to try to get a frontpage project then your intentions are not in the right place. If you want to learn how to make frontpage type projects look at the code in the projects on the frontpage. Learning another language will not really do a lot to help you make better scratch programs until you spend a ton of time learning and figuring out how to make visual type programs.

If you want to learn how to program properly (may not help you get frontpage) check this link out

I belive that you missinterperted. I meant a really good game that has the potential to be on the front page as a actual game. Thanks.
