We already have a master coder, nXIII, but you could help!
Thanks! I don't really consider myself a master, seeing as I've never seen a formal Squeak tutorial in my life (except for one which doesn't count because I didn't actually read it...) and figured it all out from other people's coding and looking at the source...

It's annoying.... the Panther window says 'Quit?!' at the top instead of Panther....
EDIT: Followed by the full file path ('C:/Documents and Settings/', etc.)
EDIT: Hey, I went and fixed it! It now says 'Panther v1.0'!
EDIT: And it's called panther.exe!

It does that "Quit?" on Scratch sometimes for me.
nXIII, just a question:
Are/will there be separate icons/colors for Mesh and Camera blocks?

Example: <If <Key [space] pressed?> then < mouse down? > else < touching mouse pointer? > > would report the truth of the mouse button if space is down as true or false or report the truth of touching mouse pointer if not. It took me a while to understand too, but I tested it and that's what it does.
Ahhh... that makes sense now...

Ok, question: How hard would it be to make this a reality?

haha, I'm in the score list there! that made me laugh. I'm loving the new blocks nXIII, I'm practically salivating at the thought of the things we could do with them and I agree, you are a master programmer, way better than my little fiddlings through the code the website's coming along nicely too and I like it how all the members can make changes and such. I'll keep giving it updated graphics and flash banners when I have the time. I can also embed Scratch projects (so long as they're uploaded on the scratch site too) so if any of you want a promotional project or something on there, let me know ^_^. Nice to see Markypark got a place and I can't believe how fast this has all progressed! Markypark has a good suggestion there with the green lists... I suppose they save online too, in which case you might have to start dabbling in java, I don't blame you if you stay out of the ensaring curly brackets of java and stick to squeak

My name is Markyparky im fine if you miss of the number, but don't miss off the y. Anyway, this was Illusionists idea, but the thread he posted it on was closed (The Scratch 2.0 one) before he could get any feedback (Besides mine). Wouldn't you need a server to store all those scoes and name in?

yes, you'd probably need a server, and also our own hacked version of the current scratch java player. If some brilliant lightbulb comes along and decides they can make this javaplayer then congrats to them, I hope they do, I however don't like java much on the principle that I don't know it well and it makes me irritable sorry, about the Y missing, I was typing the name from memory.. could I shorten to mark? it would be easier, after all we already use sep and gir. though it's fine if markyparky is what you want.
Peace

markyparky, do you have a login as a mod for the site?
also, I have a hidden page made on the site that mods can find under the pages tab but is nigh on unacessable without that where we can share ideas & files just between us, eg nXIII could send the half done version of panther for us members to test for glitches.
nXIII: what does that power block do? tell you how much virtual memory Panther is using?

I love Java! It's was the second programing language I ever used! I'm not an expert, but I think adding blocks to the java player would be easy. Also, I haven't been on much lately, so I'd like to know what's going on. Did someone make a website?

yes, nice to hear from you MathWizz, the website is www.pantherprogramming.weebly.com and it's moving along at a phenominal rate! If you could get a java player for Panther done once V1 is finished that would be absolutely amazing!!!!!... Really? java? Not frightened by the curly brackets? I am

well since a couple of days ago, (this is your update MathWizz) a group of us decided to found Panther, a spinoff of scratch with all those blocks scratch would have if only it could afford it (metaphor). So we've started up on it, with a great setup so far. It should come along great, and it's nice to see such teamwork on the scratch site!

http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=9982 this is a very basic flash player for scratch projects, you could adpat that if you could get your hands on it, might need a flash compiler though.
And no, i dont have a mod password... i think...

So the Scratch applet and the actual coding would need some sort of linkage. Multiplayer projects could work under the same principals.
I think scratch should add a feature to copy a script from one of your sprite to another, not just copying scripts on the same sprite or stage.
