Examples of friendly, constructive comments...

One of the greatest things about the Scratch community is how helpful and friendly so many Scratchers are. When I first signed up on Scratch (before I joined the Scratch Team), I got a great constructive comment from Paddle2See after I remixed one of his projects. Here's what he said:

"Very detailed costumes...I'm impressed! I haven't seen any baby crickets yet but looking at the scripts, it seems like they have that capability. You can always decrease the amount of energy they use per cycle, that will make them perform better."

This really helped set the tone of the Scratch community for me. It pointed out something he liked about my project, and gave me a helpful tip to make it better. More than that, it showed that Scratch was a friendly and welcoming place. Thanks paddle2See!  smile

So - that's one example - but I'm interested in hearing yours. Post your own favorite constructive comments from other Scratchers, especially those that helped set a positive and friendly tone for you when you were just starting out. Thanks!

This one is actually 2 comments mixed, I think I forgot to post the last part or something. It was posted in a project that recreated a MIDI song with the note blocks. Here it is:

Like the rest of your midi songs, the notes are a bit wrong. Also, I think the tempo is a bit faster... But I love how the background changes with each drum hit  big_smile  Next time try comparing both and modify the blocks until both versions are really similar.  smile

That's helpful - thanks! Although it could be said a teeny bit nicer than "a bit wrong." Do you remember who posted it?
