WOW Panther is AWESOME so far! I'm adding the ability to make variables within the code, so I made a custom arg subclass that you can drag reporters into (like this: <{ <[ costume # ]of[ Sprite1 ]> }> [/blocks]; that's kind of a bad example, though >.>) and you can select the variable from a dropdown list (classic) or click 'other...' on the list and type in a variable name!
EDIT: Oh, by the way: I added a new reporter for variables with a drop-down list.

Do you have Point to _ _, hidden?, or open dialog box?
Also, I think we should have obsolete blocks.

@ nXIII: Great to see stuff coming along so fast... What uses do you forsee that block set having?

THE FORUM AT www.pantherprogramming.weebly.com IS NOW UP AND RUNNING!
Poll: should the discussion be moved there?

Poll: Nah. It's easier to do it here.
Sorry sparks, but I can't make an e-mail.

Block idea for nXIII: Name script __ - You could name a script, and then call it!
Do you have mesh blocks?

@ nXIII: BYOB and Streak both have icons to replace the Scratch Icon in the corner. do you know how to do this? Also, BYOB has no hidden button (that I can find) with which to open up the source code... if possible, leave that open, as I think Panther should remain open source.

We need a license for editing Panther, though...
Look up "Panther clip art" and take the panther head that comes up. I think that would be a good corner icon.

Oh, don't forget say nothing! That's an easy one.
('say nothing' - sayNothing)
Requires no programming.

A liscence? What for? Scratch is open source. As long as we leave "Based on Scratch by MIT" in the project we're fine. Also, we can't really use a clip art drawing for 2 reasons. Firstly we'd have to ask permission to use it, to avoid copyright infringment, and secondly, Gir said he/she'd draw one.
Yes, I'm Just over 17. We're quite rare you know, the average scratcher age is by far 10-13

nXIII, have you included the extra keys you showed in the tutorial in your copy of scratch? also, whenever you make a change you'd like to keep, upload the file to www.pantherprogramming.weebly.com so we can all download and make changes to a collaberated project, thanks

I like Panther...
I could add in these blocks:
Point to _ _
Show dialog box with ____
Clone
Delete
Showing?
If <> then [] else[]
and
If <> then <> else <>
Just reading back, What's the difference between the suggested point to _ _ and the existing point towards { }?
What does Show dialog box with do? is that for Mesh?

No, I meant image file, like panther.image, but I'm also an artist, so I'll get working on that

We need "Draw line" more than any of these things. Unstamp would be impossible, unless Scratch team decided to completely redo how stamping works.
