Recently, when I have been on the scratch website, it has been doing weir things. Sometimes when I click a link or button (usually the forums button) my internet explorer is closed down and a notepad doc with java script on it is saved on my desktop. Why is the website doing this?

I have something similar:
I usually get logged out about every 10 minutes, but sometimes I can't even Load Scratch. I quit Firefox 3 times! just to get on Scratch

It's not that i'm being logged off, the whole internet explorer window closes and a notepad doc with java script on it appears on my desktop. That is just plain weird

You are logged off every so often depending on what internet browser you are using. when i use firefox I get logged off every 10 minutes but when I use internet explor I get logged of every 3 days of inactivity

Bluestribute: the problem you describe seems like it only happens on MacOS X when using Java 1.5. Unfortunately we have not been able to figure out why that happens, a solution could be to change to a different version of Java. I don't use MacOS so I am not sure how to do that though

What about my problem??

geckofreak: from what you describe, it is more likely a problem with your computer or your browser. Try installing Firefox as your browser, it tends to work better than Internet Explorer and it's free!

I have firefox but it always runs slow. On my other computer firefox is somehow in Japenese (Don't ask me why.). The problem also only started after you updated the website.
