Request a block!

Do you want a mockup of a block, or variable? Request here.

Sorry for my previous request threads. I did not do any because I was very busy with my life. BTW, there will be a 2 week delay as I am heading to china. So yeah. Request!

It looks like some Scratchers think you are offering to make the actual feature, instead of just a mockup - which is a way to demonstrate a proposed feature. When suggesting new features of Scratch, it's great to include a mockup - it helps everyone think through what the feature will do and how it will work. Of course, if you can actually implement the block in BYOB that'd be cool too - but also a lot of work!

Re: Request a block!

Make a sleep block!  It would be in the Looks category and would be "Send ______ to sleep".

If it were a real block it would make all of it's scripts pause until it wakes.  big_smile

Will you make me a 'connect to COBRA_MAINFRAME' block?

For sentimental purposes/siggy.

He's in china, probably arrived about an hour ago. You'll have to wait a couple weeks.  roll  Don't really see why he set this up right before he left.  tongue

Re: Request a block!

A good Scratch block to make would be <repeat until> I receive (and then the word of whatever you broadcasted)

Re: Request a block!

Can You Make The <receive []> Block? I Know How To Use The Source Code And Stuff, And I Even Made The <hidden?> Block. (And The Delete Sprite Block And The Clone Sprite Block And... Um... You Get The Idea...) But I Just Can't Figure Out How To Make The <receive []> Block. I Went To ScriptableScratchMorph And In Blockspecs (Then Blockspecs Again) And Under 'Control' I Put:

Code:

('receive %e' #b #b)

It Still Didn't Work! If You Can Make This Block, I Will Press Love It On All Of Your Projects Or I Can Give You The Code For The <hidden?> Block. (Or The Clone Block Or Delete Sprite Block...) Whatever You Want That I Can Do. So PLEASE HELPZ MEH!!!!!!!!!!

True, some think this is a BYOB request center. It's just to request a image for what the block would look like.  wink

Exactly what Lightnin' said. I'll get right on it... BTW, add what category it is in. I'll make the color too.

I'd like something like the think-bubble ask. It should be called the think while asking: {users entry goes here}

Yes, just a mockup.
